Client Project

The final project for the first semester of ITD 110 at my school was to make a website for someone else. I made a website for people who had a concept of a business.

World History Presentations

Almost every unit in World History II Intensified had presentations that we had to research for, each addressing a driving question.

Engineering Projects

We had many projects in our mandatory Engineering I: Introduction to Engineering Design class. This included making a paper rocket and a catapult.

Cornerstone

All of the ninth graders at Arlington Tech are in a Cornerstone project, which lasts almost the whole year. It incorporates most of the subjects that they are being taught with a real-life problem. This year, our question was about the rooftop gardens that are going to be put in our new school building. There was a presentation period in which all of the best presenters in the Social Studies classes were able to present in front of the ninth grade. I was the Team Leader of one of those presenters, and we presented our blueprint.

Learning JavaScript

Learning JavaScript in the second semester involved lots of projects and classwork! Although we did not have as much readings as in the last semester, projects like a text-based game, a 2-D game, and classwork like what is linked below were part of ITD 210. To learn more about what we did specifically in class, check out the course website at the bottom of the page!

As you can see, the game freezes. But that is because we learned how to animate clones of the ball so much that the game cannot function.

Learning HTML and CSS

In ITD 110, we learned more HTML than CSS, and also had plenty of projects. The biggest and final project of ITD 110 was to make a website for a client. My project involved clients who had a concept of a business that was made into a website. You can see it by scrolling up and clicking the "Client Website" link.
